Because I like to live

life in motion

moving slowly at a fast pace

current destination:

Home base: Michigan

If you tuned in recently, you likely caught me during my 2+ months in Central America. From there, I spent a week in Austin, Texas leading a group of business founders at the famed SXSW conference (if you don’t know it, it’s okay. It’s cool though, an all-encompassing tech, startups, innovation, music, art, and future-thinking gathering of global minds).

Now, I’m in a “reset” phase, visiting my family at home in Michigan. While here, I focus on:

 • catching up on and diving into my work

 • being present with family and friends

 • resting

 • filling myself with healthy habits (nutrition, exercise, etc)

 • preparing for whatever is coming next….

Current obsessions:

• Salsa dancing, classes, and socials in Michigan!
• Drinking so many liquids
• Refreshing my skincare methods
• Keeping a clean bedroom
• Reading a paperback book before bed

Current 30-day challenge

Logging my meals as I begin base training for Ironman Michigan!

what's in this month's

health stack

conscious base building

I'm back with my bicycle and all my training gear. Triathlon season is beginning and I'm trying to ease into it after time off, prioritizing injury prevention!

Fuel, but have fun

I have access to a full, stocked kitchen again! So I'm cooking a lot but prioritizing what my body needs, and keeping things simple for the most part. Lots of veggies!

Community

Spending quality time with my family and local friends, staying in touch with abroad friends, and getting plugged in with an exciting new Latin Dance community in Michigan that I didn't even realize existed before!
