The Balkans (again).
You may remember that I was here last year. Well, I just couldn’t stay away. This year I am almost repeating my trip in reverse. Over two months, I’ll be going from Croatia to Bosnia & Herzegovina to Montenegro to Albania. Why? I just… love it, I guess. Between new and old adventures and relationships, I felt it was just fitting to come back already.
Focus remains on:
• catching up on and producing quality work.
• deeply investing in local friendships that were formed last year.
• embracing the turn from spring to summer and all the amazing activities that come with this peak season.
• doing the very best I can to triathlon train while traveling.
• preparing for whatever is coming next….
• Outdoor adventure: cycling, hiking, trail running, open water swimming. • Sipping espresso • exfoliating • Letting myself eat out a little more than normal, embracing local meals! • Ajvar (Balkan roasted red pepper dip) • Learning new words in local languages
Get in at least one bike, run, and swim workout per week (in other words, train as responsibly as possible for a half-ironman, while traveling the world...)
